By proceeding with your reservation you are acknowledging that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions as indicated below and generally as requested by the Apartment Managers and their staff.
We reserve the right to expel any guests that do not comply and disrupt the enjoyment of other guests through noise or behaviour issues. No refund of any tariff will be provided. A strict ‘NO PARTY’ policy applies. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us prior to booking.
Prepayment and Cancellation Policy:
- 100% of the reservation amount will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival date. Once charged this is non-refundable. Cancellation prior to 7 days is no charge. This policy applies unless bookings fall into a ‘Special Event’ as below.
- Bookings that fall into the Easter, Christmas & NY, School Holiday periods and for Festivals and or Special Events have the following pre-payment and cancellation policy. Pre-payment of 50% of the total reservation cost will be charged any time after booking.
- If cancelled or modified outside of 30 days of check-in date your deposit is fully refundable. If cancelled or modified inside of 30 days or in the case of a no show your deposit becomes non-refundable.
No refund will be made for any early departure.
For Group Bookings of Single People:
We are pleased to offer you accommodation at Mariner Bay Apartments but it is important that you understand there is a STRICT “No Party” policy. For all group bookings of singles (i.e. not family groups, or couples) we will take a security deposit upon check-in of either $300 cash or a credit card pre-authorization per apartment. If you break our terms and conditions, particularly around noise and disruption to other guests, you will lose your security deposit and we will not hesitate to evict any groups if necessary.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Check-in time is from 2.00pm to 5.00pm on the date of your arrival. If arriving later than 5.00 pm please contact our office, prior to your arrival, to organize check-in. Check-out is by 10.00 am on the date of departure.
Payment, Cancellation and Security Deposit policies
Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to room types, dates booked and policies set on our third party online travel agent websites such as Booking.com & Expedia etc. As a general rule, full payment of balance of account is payable prior to arrival. If there is a balance owing on arrival this can be paid by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX) or Cash on check-in.
In addition, we reserve the right to take a security deposit upon your arrival by way of:
a) Cash bond of $300 per apartment;
b) Credit Card pre-authorization of $300 per apartment.
For family bookings, please note that we do not take a security deposit. Instead, we keep a record of your credit card details on the guest registration form that you sign upon check in. As per the terms on the guest registration form this authorizes us to charge any costs for damages, cleaning or breakages directly to your credit card.
Maximum Number of Persons
3 Bedroom apartment – 6 persons;
2 bedroom apartment – 4 persons;
1 bedroom – 2 persons.
Any additional persons who may want to stay need to make arrangements with the office (during the posted office hours) prior to staying. Any unauthorized person staying will incur a charge of $45 per person, charged to the security deposit / card held by the office or eviction without refund.
No Smoking Policy
All apartments are SMOKE FREE. It is permitted on your outdoor balcony/patio. In the event that smoking is detected in an apartment a minimum $300 cleaning fee will apply.
Cleaning and Removal of Rubbish
All apartments are fully self-contained and are required to be left in a neat, clean and tidy condition. All rubbish needs to be removed into the bins located in the downstairs garages.
NB: “An additional cleaning fee (minimum $100) will be charged if considered necessary.
Noise/ Visiting Guests
For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests please ensure that noise and/or music levels are kept to a reasonable level at all times. The number of non paying guests/invitees is limited to 2 per unit and they must leave before 8pm. Parties of any description are not permitted.
We reserve the right to expel any guest/invitee that disrupts the enjoyment of other guests through noise or behavior or causes damage to the apartment or building. No refund of any tariff paid will be provided.
Complimentary Starter Pack
A complimentary starter pack has been provided for your convenience on arrival. This includes tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing powder and liquid, toilet paper etc. These items will not be replaced during your stay as these are non-serviced self-contained apartments.
Breakages and Damages
Any breakages, damage to apartment or lost keys ($200 per key) must be paid for by the tenant. Please report any breakages or appliance failures to the office. We reserve the right to charge your credit card or keep any security deposit to help cover the costs of any breakages or damages.
Security / Call out Charges
In the event that you require us to open your apartment or security safe, or our Security Company have been called out due to a complaint, an “out of normal office hours” fee of $100 will apply.
We advise that you should take care to lock and secure your apartment and valuables at all times. We do not take any responsibility for personal items lost or stolen – please use the room safe provided.
